Proverbs 29:18-19, Where there is no revelation,” the people cast off  restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law. A servant will not be corrected by mere words; For though he understands, he will not respond…………………. In order to follow God we must first understand who he truly is, and what he both wants and expects of  us.  If we don’t have a clear picture in mind of what this Christian way is all about, you will not utilize your personal influence over your own behavior, ” unless we can share in the vision of the father in heaven, we will not hunger to do things God’s way. We must stop traveling the endless winding road of justifying our wrong doings, ” We must continually examine and face ourselves, and then acknowledge that we can not live without the leading of God’s Holy Spirit. When there is no disclosure of what is expected of  us, we will cast off restraint where disobedience is concerned. “Luke 11:28 says, Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it, we listen and respond out of love for God, resulting in obedience. Obedience is better than sacrifice  (Isaiah 1:1-11 ). God’s Grace be upon you all.

Our walk with God is about doing what pleases Him. When we love Him, we want to do His will. James 1:5 tells us to ask of God if we lack wisdom. He will reveal His desires through His Holy Spirit and His word. We then have to obey as He commands. After all, it’s all about Him. Obedience helps us to live a life of temperance which glorifies His name. Exercising restraint is not a bad thing, but it is very necessary for success on this Christian journey. Be blessed in Jesus name!
