John 15:5,” I am the vine,  you are the branches, he who abides in me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing ……………………Have you ever  had a power outage, suspension of service, or a disconnect of your electrical power source? For whatever reason, it is not a good feeling, “emotions , range from feelings of helplessness and  anxiousness , to down-right dispair. ” This can be the end result, when we neglect to maintain an ongoing relationship with our creator, which is our power source, after all ” Jesus is the light of the world”, it can be devastating , if we loose our connection to the true vine. ” (Philippians 4:9 ) tells us ” but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. So maintain your power source connection, through, worshipping , praising, honoring and talking to our father in prayer    after all, God is all you need for the difficulties of life, I’ve been learning over the years to cut out the middle man ( human ) ; and just go straight to my power source (Jesus), ” of course I had a direct admonishment from God, he just flat out told me, ” that I must trust God and not man”, I’ll admit every once in a while, it can be a little scary, when you’re first learning to put your trust in the unseen , but soon you realize that the unseen is really ,”where it’s all  at” ( more on this at another time 🙂 ” but anyway the father may use man or woman to assist you at times, but let him make that call, seek him first, ” and open the eye’s of your heart and ears, and let him lead the way. Remember ” God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble, Psalm 46:1. Love You in Christ!

The word of God is always good. This is one of my favorite scriptures. You are so right, Pastor Angela. If we lose our connection to Jesus, we lose our power. Let me talk about me for a second. Not only can I do nothing without Him, I am nothing without Him. For it’s in Him and only in Him that I live, move, and have my being! (Acts 17:28)
He’s not only the head of my life. He is my life. I’m so glad that He opened my eyes to the glorious light of the gospel. Thank you Jesus for helping me abide in you.
