1Thessalonians 5:16-18, ” Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you……………………. The only way to rejoice always, is to have the mind of Christ, scripture tells us  to “Let this mind that was in Christ Jesus be also in you ( Phil 2:5 ). Isaiah 26:3 says ” You keep him who’s mind is stayed on Jesus in perfect peace, because he trust in you, ” you may be feeling like you can’t  keep your mind on him, “and do you know what!  You can’t unless you begin to practice ( Romans 8:5-7 ) where it say’s,” For those who live by the flesh set their minds on things of the flesh, but those who live according to the spirit set their minds on things of the spirit. ” Now’ don’t go giving up ” on getting the mind of Christ, just begin to seek the things of the kingdom first, and all other things will be added to you. Remember, it take ‘s some practice  but you can have power over your thought’s and your spiritual heart, I didn’t say it would be easy, but it’s not as difficult as it seems. ( Romans 12: 2 ) tells us ” Do not be conformed to this world , but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, here’s the simple of it, “always ask yourself what would Jesus do?  Love you all in Christ.

You know, Pastor Angela, I have found that giving thanks i.e. praising God helps me to rejoice just as the scripture you’ve referenced says. When I began to magnify Him, in light of what I’m facing, my perspective of who He is increases. This allows me to see clearly yet again just how my issue is no match for such a big God! Praise has a unique way of clearing up what’s blurry when the focus shifts from me to Him- where it belongs. That’s when a beautiful exchange takes place where He gives the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. This causes me to re-joice ( to gain joy again). He’s such a good God! It’s always all about Him! Love you and thank you.

Yes Gracy, thank God for our garment of praise, to relieve us of heaviness , which is almost always ready to pounce, Praise God, for this exchange! Love You.
