No Lord! No Blessing!

Psalm 127:1-2, Unless the Lord builds a house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stay’s awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so he gives his beloved sleep………….When I think of how many day,s and nights, I wasted in the early formation of my Christian faith, agonizing over things in which I had no control what so ever, “I thank God” that I know my redeemer lives,” Job:19-25, and that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil. 4:13.  It is extremely necessary  that we have unconditional trust  in God, and he will give us peaceful rest, all of our human effort is in vain, without having confidence in Abba, Father. The blessing is in  having “Jesus Christ Lord of all”, as the head of your life!

Thanks again Pastor Angela for sharing another great word. It’s amazing that I was quoting Psalm 127:1 just a few days ago! God alone is our deliverer. I love Psalm 121:1-2 which says, I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Indeed it does. Hallelujah!

Yes , I almost included Psalm 121:1-2 in my post, it’s one of those pocket scripture’s, the kind that we need to have ready to use at a moments notice,…the weapon’s of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds “2 Cor 10-4 .
