Matthew 12:34; Brood of Vipers! How can you being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks………….. Although this verse refer’s to Pharisees Blasphemeing the Holy Spirit, we as follower’s of Christ, really need to apply this word to our daily lives. Because whatever you think or have in your heart, will tell on you through your conversation, whether good or bad. Jesus tells us in  ( Matt. 12:35 ) A good man out of the good treasure of his heart'” brings forth good things, and an evil man out of evil treasure brings forth evil things…………….. So let’s be careful that what we committ to our heart is good, you may get negative thoughts from time to time, but you do not need to store them in your, heart. This will insure good conversation from our mouths. Let’s remember also that when we are known for clean , wholesome ,good, truthful , communication, you will more likely be aquited, if someone falsely accuses you of  speaking negatively about them or any given situation.

This word is always a right now word, Pastor Angela. It’s true that what’s more in abundance in our hearts will be displayed through our lips. It’s important for all of us to guard our hearts with all diligence as Proverbs 4:23 tells us because what we allow in it will dictate what we do and say in life. As we do our spiritual maintenance by continuing to renew our minds with the word of God (Romans 12:2), as well as being careful about what enters in through our ear and eye gates, along with avoiding ungodly associations (1 Corinthians 15:33), we will be better equipped to be victorious in this area of our Christian walk. May God continue to richly bless you, and the work that He’s placed in your hands.

Thank you Gracy, once we realize, that what we see, hear and say, depends largely on what type’s of communication we entertain; And unless the man of flesh take’s charge of his negative appetite , he will continue to wrestle with the wind.

Thank you for this Word. The Lord has really been dealing with me about the importance of the words that come from my mouth. It is the prayer of my heart that my speech will bring glory to the Living God. We must continuously pray as King David did, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord my Strength and Redeemer.” Thank you for obeying God. Pastor Chester, you are a blessing to the Body of Christ !!!
